Liah’s Birthday

Cowgirl Liah had her 8th birthday party in a beautifully decorated barn with a pink cowgirl theme.

There were horse rides for everyone and feeding of all the farm animals, as well as a tractor ride around the farm. The barn was truly beautifully decorated with straw on the floor for a truly unique party location. Sadly Liah was a bit sick but she pulled through like a champ and still had a blast.

Creed’s 2nd Birthday

 

Last year I photographed this little munchkin’s first birthday party and this year I got to photograph his second, everything was Barney and friends themed and Barney himself even made a surprise appearance and the kids just loved it.

It just amazes me how fast he has grown, last year his mom and dad had practised blowing out the candles with him, so he could blow out his own candles on his birthday, this year he couldn’t wait to blow them out and he got them on his first try and just look at that face, his going to be breaking hearts in no time.

Essie’s first Birthday

Here we have Essie’s first birthday party and what fun was had! With yummy snacks, bubbles and a jumping castle the kiddies just had a blast. Even the weather was on their side, despite the previous few days rain.

I just love photographing kiddies parties, there is no better way to capture the most natural photos of pure joy.

Birthday Celebration

I am so please to have been part of this lovely day, spent at the Ostrich Ranch. The day started off with everyone meeting at the ranch and having a stroll in and around the little souvenir shops, followed by quick group photos before a guided tour around the inner part of the ranch. Where we were shown the skeletal structure of an ostrich, the size of their eggs, compared to other bird eggs.

Then everyone got to pet and feed some of the ostrich’s, as well as meeting the ostrich that holds the world record for been the worlds smallest ostrich. then if you wanted to you could have a sit on one  of the tamer ostriches, as the birthday girl did. Followed by drinks, celebrations and a great meal prepared by the ostrich ranches restaurant.

This was both an educational and relaxing day spent celebrating in a slightly different way.

This was also my first time using my new 50mm f1.8 lens Nikkor lens, that I had been just dying to use and the results are better than I was expecting, it didn’t take long to become my favourite lens.

Bubble Guppies Cake Smash

Another cake smash to share with you, this time the theme was Bubble Guppies, with under the ocean colours, hanging blue and green balloons and a Bubble Guppies styled cake.

Once again this little guy was a great sport, he took some time to appreciate his cake before devouring it, till there was almost more cake on him than was left on the ground.

Cleaning up after a cake smash can take some time but it is well worth the effort to see how much fun the kiddies have. after seen them have so much fun I wish I could have a cake smash all my own.

Mini Mouse Cake Smash

This little sweetie pie is crazy about Mini Mouse, can’t you tell?

She also loved the balloons at her very own, “private birthday party”. She didn’t waste any time digging into the cake, face and all, and if didn’t take her long to smash the cake. Her mommy picked out her favourite cartoon character as her cake smash theme along with how the cake should look.

Doggie Session

Got to photograph this little one in studio, isn’t he cute. His shoot was to celebrate his first birthday after his mommy has lost her first pup to sickness. He is healthy, happy and playful.
