Christmas Engagement

I enjoyed capturing tis lovely couples engagement session so much. They were so fun-loving and natural infant of the camera, as well as willing to play around with posing.

Whenever I photograph people, rather than photographing everyone in exactly the same way and ending up with 100 different people looking exactly the same in their photos, I try and get them comfortable and capture who they are in a photo. To get this “naturally you” look I will guid you into poses and then ask you to make sure you are comfortable and make it you own, if you need to move a bit or even you burst out laughing, this is what I am looking for and 90% of the time it is these photo that turn out the best, simply because it is genuine and unique allowing you to shin.

Christmas Family Session

A Christmas of firsts, such an important milestone in a family life, not only is it baby first Christmas but also a first Christmas as parents, could there be a more exciting time in a family life?
A once in a lifetime moment that’s over in what feels like a blink of an eye. This is why its so important to capture these moments, to create a tangible long lasting memory that can be shared with loved ones for many years to come and something for your life one to enjoy when they are all grown up.

Christmas Family Shoot

Family christmas shoot I did for this beautiful family, they are just so much fun to work with that it hardly feels like work. We played around with some fake snow, decorated the tree a bit and even had a surprise early christmas present from santa. I photographed them for the first time last year, also for their christmas shoot, and I just loved seen them again this year.

This year for christmas I bought a new wood themed backdrop and I think it works beautiful to add warmth and touch of home to the images.

Max

10 Week old puppy Max’s first photoshoot. This handsome young husky’s photoshoot came just before christmas, I set up and decorated a christmas tree for him to pull down and he was well suited to the job, before I could even pick up my camera he was already pulling at the tree and I had just managed to take one photo and down came the tree.

He had an absolute blast and fell asleep half way through the shoot, thats when I manages to get a santa hat on him just long enough to get a few photos and then he was back at it. After a well deserved rest for Max we removed all the chewable props and he sat nicely for some puppy portrait shots.

Keep an eye out for his little sisters photoshoot coming next week.
