This beautiful family asked me to photograph them as they were having the all to common problem of the one who was taking the photo not actually being in the photo, as a family photographer this saddens me.

Family photoshoots are such a sweet and special time, they capture the important milestones in a famous life, from becoming parents to you little one growing up and starting their family and every moment in-between.

These moments are important to capture as they help us remember the milestones more vividly and share them with others who are important to us.

Beautiful mommy, Natasha and her angle Mikaela had their Lavender Mini-session on a perfect sunny day, it truly was picture perfect with such a photogenic pair. I loved every moment, from capturing their love to post production.

Lavender Mini-Session – Bodenstein Family

I have had the pleasure to photograph the Bodenstein Family for three years, they are such lovely people always happy and ready to try new and fun things, so naturally when they contacted me to book the lavender mini session I was beyond excited to see them again, especially in this crazy beautiful lavender field.

I love seen how a family grows over the years and having the privilege to capture them as they grow each year is such an honour for me.

Lavender Mini-Session – Carter Family

I am absolutely crazy about spring and last year I found a beautiful little lavender farm on the outskirts of Stellenbosch, South Africa. I knew I had to do some photoshoots here before it became time to harvest the flowers, so I ran a lavender mini session special and it was just the best time ever. Every time I came home from a photoshoot here I was covered in the scent of lavender.

The Carter family was my last photoshoot in Cape Town and it was so much fun, and adorable little family.
